Starbucks (Copycat) Rum-Sauced Banana Topping |

This rum-sauced Banana topping is perfect to pour over french-vanilla ice cream. Recipe taken from our 59 recipe Starbucks (Copycat) Desert Recipe eBook.
Ingredients
1/4 Cup Apple Juice.
4 Teaspoons Brown Sugar.
1 Teaspoon Butter.
Dash Ground Nutmeg.
2 Large Bananas, Peeled and Sliced.
1 Tablespoon Rum.
1 Cup Coffee Flavored Ice Cream.
Directions
In a 1-quart microwave-safe casserole dish, combine apple juice, brown sugar, butter and nutmeg. Microwave on high for 1 minute. Add bananas, tossing to coat well. Microwave on high for 1 minute. Spoon sauce over bananas. Microwave on high for 1 minute longer. Pour rum over banana mixture. Carefully ignite to flame. Serve over ice cream.
